About

Floral Designer, Owner and Head Janitor

Hi, I’m Jodi… It’s true, I hug trees. While hiking and camping, I create boutonnieres and nosegays from scavenging the mountain forest floor. I am a nature nut, an obsessed animal activist and lover of Mother Nature and our need to preserve her. I’m the creator and owner of Flower Tribe. My flower journey began in 2004. I was ready to follow my true dream of being a florist and attended floral design school in Denver, Colorado. I immediately started working in a local flower shop and my world opened up into something beautiful and fragrant.

Sigh. Best decision ever.

I am living my dream. Touching and creating with flowers daily. I lose myself in the creative process. Whether it be planning for an upcoming big event or wedding or surprising happy customers with the brightest part of their day…. I love all of it. As a florist and lover of this earth, it is my role and responsibility to make sure that Flower Tribe advocates earth friendly practices.

WHY CHOOSE US?
BECAUSE WE MAKE MINDFUL FLOWER CHOICES.

Flower Tribe is passionate about making mindful flower choices and we delight in bringing your unique flower point of view to life. Locally grown flowers are always our first choice in the Colorado warm months. We source our flowers as close to home as we can. Fair-trade Certified Flower Farms, Rain-forest Alliance Certified and VeriFlora Certified flower and American Grown choices for what we can not get close by when available.

Arrangements are often presented in vintage, up-cycled and re-cycled vases and pots when available to us.

We compost all our floral stems and green rubbish weekly to a local landscaping company for re-use as mulch or other landscaping material

We opt for floral foam alternatives whenever possible.

Unused or gently used flowers are re-purposed and donated to non-profits, schools or other charitable enterprises with values inline with our own by request.

We, of course, reuse and recycle every gosh darn thing little thing we can. It’s true- whatever it is- we wont throw it away unless absolutely necessary!
