About

Hi, I’m Jodi.

I’m the owner and floral designer behind Flower Tribe, which means I design the flowers, obsess over the details, and occasionally serve as head janitor.

I’ve been working with flowers since 2004, when I followed a long-time pull toward floral design, went to floral design school in Denver, and stepped into my first flower shop job.

Flower Tribe is my Fort Collins floral studio, where I create garden-inspired arrangements for weddings, events, celebrations, sympathy work, and everyday moments that deserve something beautiful.

My design style leans organic, whimsical, a little wild, and never too polished. I’m drawn to flowers that feel like they still remember where they came from — layered textures, interesting movement, seasonal blooms, and designs that feel natural rather than forced.

I’ve always liked being a small floral studio because it keeps the work personal. I can spend time learning what someone is really looking for, talk through the details, visit a space when it helps, and create flowers that truly suit the occasion, the space, and the recipient. I’m deeply involved in every detail — the flower buying, the design direction, the final styling, and all the little adjustments that make an arrangement feel finished. Every piece gets my eye before it leaves the studio.

When I’m not flowering, I’m usually outside somewhere — hiking the hills, seeing live music, talking to trees like a perfectly normal person, or hanging out with my dogs. Nature is the whole reason I do this work, and I try to run Flower Tribe with that in mind: thoughtfully, intentionally, and with as much respect for the earth as possible.

At the heart of it, I love creating flowers that feel personal, artful, and alive — flowers with soul.

WHY CHOOSE US?
BECAUSE WE MAKE MINDFUL FLOWER CHOICES.

Flower Tribe is passionate about making mindful flower choices and we delight in bringing your unique flower point of view to life. Locally grown flowers are always our first choice in the Colorado warm months.

Arrangements are often presented in vintage, up-cycled and re-cycled vases and pots when available to us.

We compost all our floral stems and green rubbish weekly to a local landscaping company for re-use as mulch or other landscaping material

We opt for floral foam alternatives whenever possible.

Unused or gently used flowers are re-purposed and donated to non-profits, schools or other charitable enterprises with values inline with our own by request.

We, of course, reuse and recycle every gosh darn thing little thing we can. It’s true- whatever it is- we wont throw it away unless absolutely necessary!
